Fashion Week Backtrack: Day 6, Show 11 MICHON SCHUR

Honestly, I didn’t know much about Michon Schur going into this and hadn’t even planned to attend the show but I was around and so was Leslie of FashionTribes and we were still in Fashion mode and not ready to let the day go se we decided, ‘why not?’ and journeyed into the calm and quiet UPS hub around 8pm last night.
I have to say, I am really glad I did. The walkway was decorated with larger than life photographs of lovely japanese cherry blossoms, which also adorned the pocket sized run of show booklet. The look of the collection was sweet and serene. My favorite model, Irina Lazareanu started the show off wearing a silk linen rose print strapless dress with bustier.
The styling was simple and casual with messy ponytails, flat gladiator sandals, plain faces and the occasional subtle crystal headpiece that twinkled brightly when the lights would hit them just right.

The color palette consisted of blues, whites, creams and taupes and there was a lot of crinkly silk linen everywhere. Standout looks included beautiful drop sleeve coats with lantern pleat details.
Delicious, elegant, beautiful. I expect to be seeing a lot more of Michon Shur in the seasons to come.

Awesome wrap ups of the shows. I’m excited that you had the opportunity to experience the quality first hand. I’ve been in love with high-end fashion for the last 10 years and it just never dawned on me until now that I shouldn’t just try and be IN fashion week but that I should actually try and be AT it.
Fully agree with you, about a week ago wrote about the same in his blog!
