Proenza Schouler for Target

Another GO Designer arrives at Target February 4 and it’s Proenza Schouler!!!
Are you shocked? I admit that I was a *little* when I first read that but I love Proenza Schouler and have absolutely nothing against designer clothes being more accessible to the mass-market through lower price points. It makes designers stinkin’ rich and keeps people who can’t afford to shop at high-end boutiques happy. Sure, it might dilute the feeling of exclusivity for some snobby fashionistas but hey, more and more designers are doing this so they might as well get used to it.
Here are some of the looks:

I think they look pretty rad. Probably the best one of these Target ‘Go International’ things, yet. What do you guys think?

i think i might head down to target this weekend.
I say “ewwww” - unless you’re in the 14-17 teenage angst phase. Leaves something to be desired for the rest of us.
haha, I guess I am still in the 14-17 year old teenage angst phase then!!!
The pictures on this page don’t appeal to me, but the ad I saw on TV this week inspired me to head into Target after work today to hunt down one of the great bustier tops. I’m looking forward to seeing what the more sophisticated pieces look like in person once they hit the stores.
You must be talking about a different line because this one isn’t out yet.
Boring. It looks the Gap
i don’t get all that negative people, i don’t think the stuff looks like the gap (if you call yourself a fashionista you should be able to tell the differece on the cuts or the color palette, etc….) and of course the stuff is not exelent quality, it’s under 50 dlls for god’s sake…….so if you have the cash, then head to barney’s for the real deal……….
i haven’t seen this one in full yet, so excepting this, i liked the luella one exponentionally more than any of the others. she really gave the low budget market a punch of individuality.
this looks promising to me, bright colors and fun fits, but that palm skirt is hideous. these go international collections have a penchant for gross skirts.
I love all the colour, where did you get those pics from, do they have any more of different looks?
i think the collection is very simple, but that is a good thing this season because the 90’s are definately coming back with the simple lines and bolder colors. i think their line will do great in target because it appeals to a wider range of a buyers. i personally am only interested in the accessories, so on the 4 of february i will be heading to target to check them out.
i agree, looks quite young. almost something you could find at forever 21.
I am a college student and I work part time at Target so I’m am definitely going to be buying some of these pieces which will be on the sale floor Sunday. Thank god for team member discounts!
This line has the cutest freaking coats. I want them all!
Why do people say “price point” when they really mean “price”?
