Vintage Inspiration: Fall 2008 - Patti Smith
As the Summer winds down, we have been finding ourselves hanging around the Trashionista Base of Operations in Koreatown (Los Angeles), listening to a lot of old Patti Smith as we search for Fall inspiration.
The Summer for us, was all about having our heads in the clouds, and being fun and free-spirited, but there’s something deeper and more raw about the Fall. Fall is when you cover up a little more, deal with your problems, and get a little more serious as you go back to school, work, whatever.
So, it was a natural progression that Patti Smith became our Fall Style Idol as we made attempts to put our feet back on the ground while rocking out to the sounds of her gritty voice.
