What I’m wearing right now: my signature vintage spectacles, a blue and white 3/4 sleeve raglan baseball jersey, the same high-waisted skinny jeans I’ve been rockin’ for the past 3 days, and the dirtiest white Vans you have ever seen.

Style Idols/Inspirations: Vintage Cher, Patti Smith, Mary-Kate Olsen, Tyrone Biggums, Velma Dace Dinkley.

Current theme song: I’m Still Your Fag - Broken Social Scene.

Favorite brands/designers: Designers that really do it for me are Jeremy Scott, Alice Ritter, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Marc Jacobs. Brands that I wear a lot are PPFM, American Apparel, James Perse, Ksubi, Theory, and recently I’ve been really getting into WeSC clothing after constantly stealing it from a guy that I was dating. Other than that, I wear whatever I find at the thrift store and pair it with dirty shoes and a Jill Stuart handbag.

What I dressed like as a kid: When I was 5, my mother converted to Christianity and we began attending a United Pentecostal Church so I was forced to dress like Chloe Sevigny’s character ‘Nicki’ on Big Love for my all of my elementary school years. That means, long sleeved shirts and skirts below the knee in all weather. I also wasn’t allowed to cut my hair or wear jewelry. Basically, I dressed like the Amish. Needless to say, I wasn’t the most popular kid in San Diego.
