Everyone looked great, especially the designers. My idol Chloe Sevigny was there. Christina Milian and Carmen Electra showed up wearing nearly identical outfits (from the collection). Yikes! Already I don’t want that shirt because obviously everyone and their brother is going to have it. I still don’t have a formal opinion of the clothes. I’ll have to look at them more, in the flesh, when they arrive at H&M on November 9th.
As far as the clothes, this is my favorite look from the collection. I really, really like the skirt:

I’m sure most of you have heard about Viktor & Rolf’s Fall collaboration with H&M but what you don’t know is that tomorrow at their exclusive launch in Bel-Air, models will walk through a 4-tier, 12 foot tall, actual wedding cake! Attendees will be seated around the runway on white cast-iron tables and the show will be preceded by a traditional wedding cake-cutting ceremony.
Rumor has it that the lovely wedding gown shown above, is constructed out of silk and tulle and will retail for $378.00 How fun! I love Viktor and Rolf and it is my prediction that this is going to be the best Designer/H&M collection to date but only time can tell. We shall see on November 9th when Viktor and Rolf for H&M arrives one-time only at 250 H&M stores worldwide. I have been waiting for this for months! I can’t wait to go to my local H&M and watch all the eBayers try to hoard all the wedding dresses! See you at the altar, bitches! Honestly, I was never a big Kirsten Dunst fan so I thought I might end up annoyed when I heard the talk of her starring in another Coppola film but this fashionable movie craze has been loads of fun so far! Here’s my contribution to the francophilia mayhem with a favorite beauty pick of the week, inspired by the world’s most famous Queen of Excess:
Sephora’s Marie-Antoinette Necklace is a chic gold locket, with a black faceted stone, dangling boldly from a 37 inch velvet cord and filled with yummy glittery lipgloss. Will go great with your brand new Chanel Black Satin Nail Polish, if you were lucky enough to score some! $20.00 at www.sephora.com Filed under: Beauty and Fashion and Shopping Comments: 1 Comment |
